SAFFRON RISOTTO  

Our risottos are prepared following the traditional Italian recipe:

• We toast the Italian carnaroli rice

• We cook with vegetable broth

• We cream with Italian butter and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese

Our gourmet risotto will change the way you enjoy this classic dish at home. Made in Italy using only the highest quality ingredients, like 100% Italian butter, Italian extra virgin olive oil, and Italy’s finest cheeses. Slow cooked for you with care, ready for you to heat and enjoy. Perfectly al dente in four minutes, ideal for a quick and impressive entrée or side dish.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

IN THE MICROWAVE: 800 W FOR 4 MINUTES

Pierce the bag along the back seal and place in the microwave with the perforation facing up for 4 minutes at 800W. ATTENTION: after 4 minutes the product will be very hot, remember to touch only the end of the bag. Pour the contents into a dish and mix gently to make the product homogeneous.

 

IN THE PAN: 5/6 MINUTES

Pour the contents of the bag, still frozen, into a non-stick pan and heat for 5 or 6 minutes over medium heat, possibly adding a tablespoon of water or better broth, stirring the product. Pour the contents into a dish and mix gently to make the product homogeneous.

 

INGREDIENTS:

Vegetable broth (water, carrots, tomatoes, celery , shallot, natural flavors, 0.32% butter , salt, rosemary, spices, yeast extract, tapioca starch, extra virgin olive oil), Carnaroli rice 22%, cream , Parmigiano Reggiano DOP ( milk , salt, rennet) 4.28%, butter 3.6%, white wine 0.8 (contains sulphites ), shallot, tapioca starch, thickener: xanthan gum, saffron 0.012% (saffron in stigmas 0.001%), white pepper powder.

It may contain traces of fish, molluscs and crustaceans.
